What Makes Us Different

Sometimes senior-level leaders need additional support and guidance with their ability to lead inclusively. Using Ascension Worldwide’s proprietary and proven methodologies, our coaching program enables individuals to develop a deeper understanding of themselves, find their “North Star” as a leader, increase communication effectiveness, and confidently lead large teams through DEI or cultural challenges.

We also provide customized solutions for groups of managers who need help effectively practicing inclusion.

Coaching Program Overview

We know that sometimes senior managers need help with their DEI acumen. At Ascension Worldwide, we have developed an intensive 3-month (90-day) program that will provide the skills and necessary language that senior managers may be lacking.

We use industry proven coaching methodologies to help participants understand and appropriately leverage language and direction with their direct reports and fellow colleagues. We also train senior managers to gauge their cultural competency and awareness of others in every situation.

We help participants who go through the program develop emotional intelligence skills that foster listening and avoid conflict.

And we demonstrate how to use inclusive communication skills—ensuring listening, alignment, and joint visioning with their team.

The program includes:

  • An Initial 2-hour Discovery Session to determine individual goals.
  • A monthly, one-hour Coaching Session personalized to the individual.
  • Up to three, 15-minute phone calls per month, unlimited texts, and email communication from Coachee to Coach for just-in-time issues or talking points to use immediately.
  • A final Achievements Report delivered to leadership, or the individual, after completion of the coaching program.
  • A closing meeting with Coach and Coachee in order to create a path for continued success.

Certified Coaching Tools

Social + Emotional Intelligence Profile

Ascension Worldwide is certified to administer the ISEI Social + Emotional Intelligence Profile (SEIP) for individuals—the most comprehensive, statistically reliable, scientifically validated instrument in use in coaching today. Based on over 10 years of research, the SEIP identifies an individual’s social and emotional intelligence strengths and development opportunities.

The Keirsey Temperament Sorter®-II (KTS®-II)

Ascension Worldwide is also certified to use The Keirsey Temperament Sorter II for coaching assessments. It is one of the most widely used personality instruments in organizations today. The tool uses a 70-question personality survey to help individuals discover their personality type and then recommends ways a coach can use the findings to better understand how to communicate with their team.

The Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI®) is a valid and reliable assessment of intercultural competence. It has been developed and tested using rigorous cross-culturally validated psychometric protocols with over 220,000 respondents from a wide range of cultural groups and countries. In addition, the IDI has been translated into multiple languages using rigorous back translation protocols. Ascension Worldwide is also certified to administer this tool for coaching purposes.
